The Coachbuilt Maserati Corona GTX 2+2 is marvel of forward thinking futuristic design, combined with the superb Maserati V8 engine. The Corona GTX is truly a stunning sculpture on wheels. Based on the Maserati Gran Turismo the Corona GTX combines its futuristic coach work with Maserati engineering. From the cars glass doors to a twin cockpit design the Corona GTX 2+2 is truly a design masterpiece! Designed by Christopher Alexander Rodrigues (C.A.R.) at Retro Coachbuilders, the begins of this project started back in early 2020. Originally named when in the design phase simply just by the designation GTX 2+2 concept. The GTX name meaning Gran Turismo Estremo or Grand Touring Extreme. The name showing the intention of the car to be the ultimate GT. However by the time the cars design concept was completed the corona virus pandemic started to take effect worldwide. Because of this event the car was to be named the Corona GTX 2+2. The idea behind this is to bring awareness of the new international pandemic and in addition the first Corona GTX 2+2 to be sold #001 will have half of the profit to go to aid and research to stop the corona virus. In total only 100 Corona GTX 2+2 cars will be built. Automobile Procurement has been able to get a limited number of slots.
